Career Assessment Workshops
These are workshops designed to introduce first year students to
the concept of self-assessment for best occupational match. Students
pre-take a Holland-based self-assessment and bring their results to
small group workshops where they share their results and are
introduced to the basics of Holland’s theory, and its applicability
to their occupational choice. These workshops have been a required
piece of Psychology 101 courses, and in the near future, will also
encompass University 101, and Communications 101 but any student can
attend. There are multiple workshops offered at different times
throughout the week both semesters.
