Borrowing from the “speed dating” concept, hosts will be sharing
networking information (using our prepared information as well as
your own examples, if warranted) to a small group of students. After
approximately 10- minutes, the host will move to another small
group, sharing the same information. The small groups will then come
together and practice the skills they learned from the different
hosts. Subjects taught include entering and exiting conversations,
interviewing tips, proper dress, handshakes, business cards, etc.
Three workshops are offered each
fall and spring semester. There is a $12.00 fee for students to help
cover the cost of the meal.
