EPA EXTENDS SPCC DEADLINES BY 18 MONTHS

This week EPA made available a pre-publication Federal Register Notice signed by the administrator extending the SPCC deadlines for the new rule by 18 months. EPA also announced that only those provisions of the rule that are less stringent or burden reducing would still be in effect and that the implementation of any requirements that are new or more stringent than the old rule would be extended by 18 months.
