The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will showcase a delivery vehicle that uses advanced hybrid hydraulic technology. Based on laboratory tests, this vehicle achieves over 60-70 percent better fuel efficiency in urban driving and 40 percent lower CO2 greenhouse gas emissions. A typical fleet owner operating just one of these would save up to 1,000 gallons of fuel each year. An opportunity to ride in the advanced hybrid UPS truck will be made available at RFK Stadium, Parking Lot #6, after the event.
